Anand Singh Negi

Anand prepares exquisite food based on his almost two decades of experience as a chef in important Indian restaurants. Born in the north of India, he also lived for many years in the south of the country, thus being exposed to the gastronomy of various places, with the variety of flavors, ingredients and cooking techniques that this implies.
Trained in classical cuisine, he has learned the secrets of great masters of Indian cuisine, first working for the exclusive group of Taj hotels in India, and then experimenting and developing creative dishes in London… all a preparation to now offer the best for the Barcelona public.
Although he is no longer behind the Bembì stove every day, the recipes, the composition of the menus and the plating techniques bear his mark.
Anand has published the book “Indian Cuisine for Westerners” (available in bookstores and also in the restaurant itself) with more than 100 recipes for dishes, some of which can be tasted at Bembì.
Sanjay Das Gupta
Room Manager of the Bembi Group
Sanjay is the main person in charge of customer satisfaction. Trained in the best hospitality schools, he has worked for the prestigious 5-star Taj hotel chain in India and has been the Maître of La Porte des Indes in London, an Indian restaurant that belongs to the Blue Elephant Group.
He is currently promoting our Ibiza restaurant, but the personalized attention of all our waiters is due precisely to his passion for details.

Trained in our kitchen under Anand, Lakwinder and his team are proud to have been with Bembì from the very beginning and to have learned from him the technical intricacies of the best Indian cuisine.

After having studied at the hospitality school in Amritsar (Punjab, India) and having trained in several restaurants in Barcelona, he puts his exquisite kindness into welcoming and serving those who enter Bembì.

With training at the High School of Hospitality in India, he has worked in this sector in India and in London, as well as in the organization of conferences and events. In addition to her experience and her vocation to serve her, Vaishali brings her concern to renew ourselves and always learn.
Andrea Varga

With an MBA degree from the IESE business school in Barcelona and extensive experience in the financial sector, she is the company manager with responsibilities in the administration of the Bembì Group restaurants.
